High Terrain – HeliFALCON® Survey Home Case Studies High Terrain – HeliFALCON® Survey Airborne Gravity Gradiometer and Magnetic CANADA High Terrain – HeliFALCON® Survey A HeliFALCON® AGG survey was flown in 2011 over rugged terrain (650–2150 m ASL) near Creston, BC, targeting lead-zinc SEDEX mineralization. Due to >50% climb rates, fixed-wing surveys were infeasible. The helicopter-based AGG system enabled low-altitude, high-resolution data collection. Terrain correction using onboard laser-scanned topography revealed subsurface geology via vertical gravity gradient (GDD) data.
