Dans les zones g\u00e9ologiques complexes, l&rsquo;interpr\u00e9tation int\u00e9gr\u00e9e des donn\u00e9es de champs potentiels avec d&rsquo;autres informations g\u00e9ophysiques et g\u00e9ologiques permet de d\u00e9terminer l&rsquo;\u00e9paisseur de la section s\u00e9dimentaire, la configuration du socle, la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie et la distribution des volcans intrusifs intra-s\u00e9dimentaires, des plates-formes de carbonates\/r\u00e9cifs de pinacles, des structures salines et des diapirs de boue.<\/p>\n<p>Les progr\u00e8s des instruments, des logiciels et des techniques de traitement, notamment le d\u00e9ploiement de la gravim\u00e9trie a\u00e9roport\u00e9e (AGG), ont permis d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer consid\u00e9rablement la r\u00e9solution spatiale et la sensibilit\u00e9, ce qui permet de cartographier les pal\u00e9ochenaux et autres caract\u00e9ristiques stratigraphiques, les lithologies et les structures dans les ceintures de plissement et de chevauchement, o\u00f9 l&rsquo;imagerie sismique est extr\u00eamement difficile, et d&rsquo;identifier des cibles peu profondes et de petite taille dans les zones de transition c\u00f4ti\u00e8res et terrestres.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;utilisation de la gravim\u00e9trie a\u00e9roport\u00e9e (AGG) pour l&rsquo;exploration p\u00e9troli\u00e8re et gazi\u00e8re s&rsquo;est consid\u00e9rablement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e au cours des deux derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies, en particulier dans les r\u00e9gions frontali\u00e8res. Dans certains environnements g\u00e9ologiques, l&rsquo;utilisation de cette technologie est devenue un outil essentiel et a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;origine de certaines des d\u00e9couvertes les plus importantes de la derni\u00e8re d\u00e9cennie. La capacit\u00e9 de la technologie AGG \u00e0 couvrir de tr\u00e8s grandes zones en peu de temps a permis aux explorateurs d&rsquo;optimiser le nombre d&rsquo;acquisitions sismiques avant le forage tout en raccourcissant consid\u00e9rablement le cycle d&rsquo;exploration. Le retraitement des donn\u00e9es sismiques existantes et l&rsquo;utilisation de techniques g\u00e9ophysiques non sismiques rentables sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme un bon sc\u00e9nario de base pour att\u00e9nuer le risque g\u00e9ologique.<\/p>\n<p>Les donn\u00e9es de gradiom\u00e9trie a\u00e9roport\u00e9e (AGG) peuvent combler les lacunes des donn\u00e9es sismiques 2D, r\u00e9duisant ainsi l&rsquo;ambigu\u00eft\u00e9 de l&rsquo;interpr\u00e9tation du sous-sol.
