Les processus les mieux compris sont la serpentinisation et la radiolyse.<\/p>\n<p>La serpentinisation est un processus d\u2019alt\u00e9ration des lithologies mafiques\/ultramafiques r\u00e9sultant de l\u2019interaction avec l\u2019eau \u00e0 des pressions et des temp\u00e9ratures sp\u00e9cifiques. Les roches ultramafiques sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement de haute densit\u00e9 et peuvent \u00eatre cartographi\u00e9es \u00e0 grande profondeur gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la gradiom\u00e9trie gravim\u00e9trique a\u00e9roport\u00e9e (AGG) utilisant une gravim\u00e9trie haute r\u00e9solution.<\/p>\n<p>Les donn\u00e9es AGG et magn\u00e9tiques permettent \u00e9galement d\u2019imager les granites radiog\u00e9niques qui g\u00e9n\u00e8rent de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne et de l\u2019h\u00e9lium par radiolyse. Ces m\u00eames donn\u00e9es permettent de cartographier les failles et fractures qui agissent comme des conduits pour ces deux processus, permettant l\u2019infiltration de l\u2019eau et la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration et migration subs\u00e9quentes de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne.<\/p>\n<p>Pour que l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne s\u2019accumule dans le sous-sol, des couches imperm\u00e9ables telles que les schistes ou le sel sont n\u00e9cessaires pour emp\u00eacher son \u00e9chappement vers la surface. Le FALCON\u00ae AGG est id\u00e9al pour cartographier ces formations et structures, et a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 cette capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 de nombreuses reprises dans l\u2019exploration conventionnelle mafiques\/ultramafiques, y compris les complexes ophiolitiques et d\u2019autres lithologies, permet de les cartographier avec une grande pr\u00e9cision gr\u00e2ce aux donn\u00e9es de gradient gravim\u00e9trique a\u00e9roport\u00e9 FALCON\u00ae (AGG).<\/p>\n<p>Bien que les roches ultramafiques pr\u00edstines soient non magn\u00e9tiques (contenant uniquement des silicates et spinelles paramagn\u00e9tiques), la serpentinisation de ces roches ultramafiques (alt\u00e9ration hydrothermale qui lib\u00e8re du H2) cr\u00e9e de nouveaux min\u00e9raux, dont la magn\u00e9tite, ce qui permet de les cartographier en d\u00e9tail gr\u00e2ce aux donn\u00e9es magn\u00e9tiques FALCON\u00ae.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s magn\u00e9tiques des serpentinites peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es comme indicateur (proxy) pour diff\u00e9rencier leur contexte de serpentinisation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n                        <\/div>\r\n                        <div class=\"image\">\r\n du m\u00e9thane<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Xcalibur Smart Mapping et la Curtin University of Technology de Perth, en Australie, collaborent pour d\u00e9velopper une technologie permettant la d\u00e9tection directe de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne atmosph\u00e9rique \u00e0 partir d\u2019a\u00e9ronefs de prospection. Cette technologie, soutenue par le programme Resources Technology and Critical Minerals Trailblazer, utilise la spectroscopie Raman de diffusion, la seule m\u00e9thode connue pour d\u00e9tecter \u00e0 distance et en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne atmosph\u00e9rique ainsi que divers autres gaz.<\/p>\n<p>Le processus consiste \u00e0 utiliser un laser pour exciter un volume d\u2019air proche de la surface terrestre, g\u00e9n\u00e9rant une lumi\u00e8re diffus\u00e9e avec une \u00e9nergie vibrationnelle caract\u00e9ristique pour chaque mol\u00e9cule. Le spectre de la lumi\u00e8re diffus\u00e9e Raman est ensuite mesur\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019un spectrom\u00e8tre afin de d\u00e9terminer la concentration d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne et d\u2019autres gaz pr\u00e9sents.<\/p>\n<p>Lorsqu\u2019il est utilis\u00e9 conjointement avec le FALCON\u00ae AGG, le H-MAS offre une capacit\u00e9 unique et puissante pour d\u00e9tecter l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne g\u00e9ologique en surface, tout en cartographiant la lithologie et les structures du sous-sol gr\u00e2ce aux donn\u00e9es FALCON\u00ae AGG et magn\u00e9tiques.<\/p>\n<p>Ind\u00e9pendamment, le H-MAS
